At Expanish Madrid, we are looking for committed, responsible, enthusiastic monitors with lots of energy for our summer camp. This camp is designed for international students aged 12 –17 from various countries from all over the world who come to Madrid to study Spanish and take part in cultural activities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and have outstanding skills for working with young people from diverse cultures.

Job Details
Position: Monitor Summer Camp
Dates: From 05/07/2025 to 25/07/2025
Contract Type: Temporary, full-time, including weekends.
Location: Madrid and surrounding areas
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily recreational and educational activities in Spanish.
Supervise camp participants to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Promote a positive and motivating atmosphere among campers.
Collaborate with other monitors and camp staff to coordinate special events and excursions.
Assist in the preparation and organization of materials and resources for activities.
Resolve conflicts and issues among participants professionally and constructively.
Participate in meetings and training sessions prior to the start of camp.
Requirements:
Confident, fun, positive, and empathetic personality.
Previous experience working with children and teenagers, preferably in a camp or educational setting.
Madrid local. Native or bilingual Spanish speaker.
Advanced level of English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Knowledge of Madrid, its culture and history.
Ability to lead recreational and educational activities.
Able to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Team player with adaptability to dynamic environments.
Available to work on the weekends, flexible schedule.
Eligible to work in Spain.
First aid certificate (mandatory).
Updated criminal record certificate with no offenses of a sexual nature (mandatory).
Have the certificate of Monitor de actividades de tiempo libre infantil y juvenil (recommended).
